FIRAS
FIRAS is a voluntary, third-party certification for installation contractors of both passive and active fire sprinkler systems. They are operated by Warrington Certification and accredited by UKAS.
RAD are proud to be a long-standing certified member of FIRAS and have a flawless record. We satisfy all criteria for certification including; the stringent FIRAS assessment of our onsite workmanship; the competence of all our employees and of our company’s office management systems.
IFC
RAD applied for 3rd party accreditation with IFC specifically for our High Pressure Mist solution and we were proud to be accepted in 2020 as this proves our commitment to scrutiny for all our products.
CHAS
CHAS (Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme) is established as the market leader for health and safety pre-qualification in the UK.
BAFSA
BAFSA’s primary objectives include providing authoritative information on the benefits of fire sprinkler systems and how they can protect people & property from the devastating effects of fire.
BAFSA works closely with the Government, Fire and Rescue Service, Building Control Officers, Insurers, Architects and Town Planners, to ensure that sprinkler systems are installed to the highest professional standards.
They provide a database of registered installers, of which RAD are proud to be a long-standing company.
RSA
RSA (Residential Sprinkler Association) provide support to the Residential sector of the UK Fire Sprinkler Industry.
It currently provides its members with web presence, training, accreditation, technical representation, advice and information.
NFSN
NFSN Every UK Fire & Rescue Service is currently a member of the National Fire Sprinkler Network which gives it a powerful voice in promoting the wider use of fire suppression systems amongst those designing and building our buildings, and those in Government who establish Regulations and Guidance on the appropriateness of such systems.
Builders Profile
Builder’s Profile is the open-access Common Database service providing compliance and PQQ information to the construction industry. Their secure Common Database enables subcontractors and suppliers to easily maintain and share information. For main contractors and clients, it provides all the information, documents and tools required to manage a supply chain no matter how large or small.
UKAS
UKAS Accreditation is a formal, third party recognition of competence to perform specific tasks. It provides a means to identify a proven, competent evaluator so that the selection of a laboratory, inspection or certification body is an informed choice. UKAS accreditation means the evaluator can demonstrate to its customer that it has been successful at meeting the requirements of international accreditation standards.
RAD voluntarily chooses to be accredited as they recognise the internal efficiencies that it brings and opportunities to demonstrate the best practices.
